History of the Vineyard

The Day, Epper and Butler families who own this special piece of paradise bring their own unique blend of French, New Zealand, English and Australian traditions to create a most beautiful wine. Family and friends handpick a small quantity of their premium grapes each year to make a boutique wine which is available for lovers of great wine.

Family, friends, selected restaurants and wine merchants, plus a few lucky others enjoy the taste created by our outstanding wine maker Nick Patterson who carefully crafts each wine, always using the best french oak and screw cap seals.

A word from the experts on the benefits of screw cap seals:
The screw cap seal guarantees an absence of TCA and minimises oxidisation, resulting in a significant reduction of wine spoilage. Screw caps seals conserve the aromas, flavour and freshness of the wine, ensures a taint-free wine that offers consistent aging with optimum quality control, just as the wine maker intended.
